The item is a section of a uv laser mirror positioner and has a mount plate area of approx 6 x4 inch. with screws or wedges will adjust in 2 perpendicular axis with about 4 degree total adjustment each axis. construction is aluminum titanium and stainless steel. approx capacity is 50 lbs for the optic. used for a deep uv laser mirror and lensing setup. weight is about 5 to 10 lb. With the fine adjustment of two angles possible with this, you can position a mirror for a laser cavity precisely parallel. and with the open frame a part reflector, beamsplitter or window is also possible. Use with the tropel piezo actuator we have to tune a laser electrically.
