We are offering a 55 gallon drum of Concrete Sealer X-1 which is manufactured by Stone Technologies, Corp. Concrete Sealer X-1 is a permanent penetrating sealer that is effective in making concrete stronger protecting it against frost and salt while making it dustproof, stain resistant, acid resistant and moisture resistant. Concrete Sealer X-1 can be used to treat damp or wet basements, concrete floors, walls, driveways, storage tanks, fish ponds, swimming pools, pipes, blocks, cinder blocks, mortar and stucco. Concrete Sealer X-1 can be brushed, rolled or sprayed onto the surface to be treated. The surface to be treated does not need any special treatment but it must be oil and dust free to allow proper penetration of the product. It will cover approximately 250 to 500 square feet per gallon depending on the concrete porosity and two coats are recommended. The product is "self-indicating" because when the pores become saturated a frosted or blooming appearance will be evident which can be hosed or brushed off. Concrete Sealer X-1 penetrates through the capillaries of the concrete to a depth of upto 4" where it chemically neutralizes damaging chemicals to form a hard insoluble structure based on calcium silicate and calcium hydroxide. Unlike surface coatings, such as siloxanes this product will not be damaged by efflorescence or be worn down by heavy traffic because it is permanent. Concrete Sealer X-1 leaves a natural finish (no sheen) after application and the surface will not be slippery. The concrete can also be painted after it has been sealed.
