Measured in 2 degree increments The stem is adjustable to make the thermometer visible. The probe is a 3.5" aluminum stem, with a 1" UNEF connection. You can purchase a thermowell to isolate the liquid flow from the thermometer, and also to adapt the threads to a 3/4" NPT male. This thermometer is excellent for making biodiesel. It will give you a very accurate reading of your oil temperature that is easy to read for getting good biodiesel reactions. I use one of these, and I don't know how I ever used one of the auto water temp gauges that start reading at 110 degrees. |
