Russian-made objective lens , 2.5” focal length, variable iris diaphragm, glass lenses antireflective coating. 0.7” lens diameter (aperture) There are 3 lenses available, and 3 lenses are shown in the picture in order to show all the numbers. Since it is very likely that the lenses are not compatible with any existing hardware, the primary use of these lenses is in an optical bench, for experimentation. For example, it is common practice to use lens holders for prope alignment various optical equipment. For an optical bench experiment, the built-in iris diaphragm in these high quality lenses provides a very convenient way to change the aperture! |
