PASSES POWER ON SELF TESTS WITH NO ERRORS. The TAS 2502A is an ISDN central office emulator and protocol analyzer. It contains two ISDN-BRI (2B+D) interfaces with U (2B1Q) and S/T (ASI bipolar) access to each. It captures and stores protocol traces for layers 1, 2, and 3 and provides high-level message translation. It also simulates X.25 Packet Mode Data calls, applies in-band tones to voice calls, and routes speech and Circuit Mode Data connections on either B channel.
